Keeping your availability up to date is essential for getting booked on ClassCover. Schools rely on accurate availability when they need to fill positions, so failing to update your availability regularly makes it harder for schools to book you.
Updating Your Availability on a Computer
When using ClassCover on a computer, updating your availability is a quick and easy process.
After logging into your ClassCover profile, head to the ‘My Calendar’ tab
Select the date(s) you would like to update your availability on.
From there, you’ll choose your availability status and update it.
If you need to make regular changes, there’s also an option to set up ‘Recurring Update’ for block bookings or periods when you’ll be permanently unavailable.
Updating Your Availability on the Mobile App
If you prefer using the mobile app, the process is just as simple.
Open the ClassCover app and tap on the ‘Calendar’ tab.
Select the date(s) you want to update, and you’ll be prompted to choose the status for each. You can also set half-day options (AM or PM) or mark full-day availability.
Tip: Don’t forget to hit SAVE when you’re done.
Stay Consistent
Remember, keeping your availability updated isn’t just a one-time thing. Schools expect up-to-date availability for booking decisions, and teachers who are proactive about updating their calendars are much more likely to be considered for assignments.
