Did you know that you can turn off bookings on ClassCover but still keep your account to apply for jobs through ClassCover Jobs and access teacher PD? Here’s how to do it.
How to Switch Bookings ON and OFF
Log into ClassCover and navigate to your profile.
Find the section titled I am using ClassCover to..
Locate Get booked for work through ClassCover Bookings.
Check/Uncheck the box to toggle your availability:
Checked = Bookings ON
Unchecked = Bookings OFF
If you'd like to keep your ClassCover account open to apply for jobs and access our professional development library:
Keep the options Apply for job opportunities through ClassCover Jobs and Access ClassCover's online library of Professional Development checked.
Click SAVE.
What Happens When You Turn Off Bookings?
Once bookings are turned off:
Your profile will be hidden from school booking lists.
You will no longer appear in the Find New Teachers directory, so new schools won’t be able to add you for casual bookings.
By following these steps, you’ll still be able to apply for job opportunities and access online PD through ClassCover Learn while pausing bookings.
You can change this at any time. If you are coming back to casual teaching, you can click this back on and you will reappear on schools lists and be searchable in the directory for new schools to find you if you have your profile on 'viewable to other schools'. This setting can be found under your settings page on ClassCover
