Cancelling a Pending Booking Request

If you have a pending booking request and no longer need a casual, you can immediately cancel the booking request without waiting for confirmation from the casual.

Steps to Cancel a Pending Booking Request

  1. Access the Pending Request Screen

    1. When making a booking via the Booking page on the desktop version of ClassCover, you’ll be taken to a progress screen.

  2. Cancel the Pending Request

    1. On this screen, you will see an option to Stop the Booking. Simply click on the Stop Booking button to cancel the request. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to:

      1. Notify the casuals who received the booking request.

      2. Enter the reason for cancelling the booking request. This will immediately update the system and send a notification about the cancellation.

  3. Using the Booking History Page

    1. Alternatively, you can go to the Booking History page found on the left navigation menu. On this page:

      1. Use the filters to search for the booking you want to cancel. You can search by creator, date, status, booking type, or role type.

      2. Once you’ve found the booking, click on it to open the progress page, where you will have the option to Stop the Booking and follow the same process to notify the teacher and enter the reason for cancellation.

Cancelling a Request on the Mobile App

On the mobile app, you can also cancel a booking request by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Request History Tab

    1. Open the Request History tab on the mobile app.

  2. Find the Booking

    1. Look for the specific booking you wish to cancel.

  3. Tap on Cancel

    1. Tap on Cancel, enter the reason for cancellation, and confirm.

  4. Cancel the Request

    1. Once you’ve entered the reason, tap on Cancel to complete the process.
