Deactivating Your Profile on ClassCover

If you’re booked for an extended period or taking a break from casual work and no longer need ClassCover for casual bookings, there are a few options available to you. You can choose to either deactivate your profile or turn off bookings while retaining access to tools like ClassCover Learn and ClassCover Jobs. Whatever you choose, it’s important to take action to maintain your relationships with schools on ClassCover.

If you no longer need ClassCover or want to take a break, you have two options:

  • Deactivate Your Profile:

    This will completely pause your account, including job alerts and access to our professional development (PD) platform, ClassCover Learn (if you have a membership). Your profile, schools, and information will remain intact for future use.

  • Turn Off Bookings Only:

    This option removes you from school lists and hides your profile in the teacher directory, but you’ll still receive job alerts and access PD resources. You can reactivate bookings anytime. Learn how to turn off bookings here.

How to Turn Off Bookings

  1. Open ClassCover via your mobile app or the web version.

  2. ClassCover App:

    1. Tap the menu in the top right, navigate to Accounts & Settings.

    2. Tap ‘My Profile’.

    3. On your profile, tap ‘Bookings On’ in the top left corner.

    4. To turn off bookings, uncheck the first point and tap Save.

    5. Your profile will now show ‘Bookings Off’ in the top left corner.

  3. ClassCover Web Version:

    1. Click your profile picture in the top right of the screen.

    2. Click ‘My Profile’.

    3. Scroll down and click on the pencil icon on the section titled ‘I am using ClassCover to’.

    4. Uncheck the first box and click Save.

    5. You will now see ‘Bookings Off’ in the top right of the screen.

How to Deactivate Your Account

  1. Log in to your account and go to My Profile (available on the web version of ClassCover).

  2. Click on Deactivate My Account.

  3. Choose a reason for deactivation from the options provided.

  4. Confirm your choice, and you’ll receive an email confirmation of your deactivation.

We'll miss you! If you choose to return to ClassCover later, just log back in. Your profile, school connections, and booking history will be ready, so you can jump right back into getting booked by schools!
