We make it easy to either pause bookings or fully deactivate your account – no need to delete or lose your hard-earned connections. Here’s how to manage your status while keeping the door open for future opportunities.
Option 1: Turn Off Bookings (Keep Access to Jobs & PD)
Ideal if you want to pause bookings but still access:
ClassCover Learn (if you're a subscriber)
Turning off bookings hides your profile from school booking lists and directories, but you can still:
Apply for jobs
Complete online teacher professional development (PD) courses
Reactivate bookings anytime

Option 2: Fully Deactivate Your Profile
Choose this if you're not planning to use ClassCover for the foreseeable future. Deactivation will:
Pause your entire account
Stop all job alerts and PD access
Keep your profile, school connections, and booking history intact for when you return
To deactivate your account:
Log in to your ClassCover account via the desktop version.
Navigate to My Profile.
Click on Deactivate My Account.
Select a reason for deactivation and confirm.
You'll receive an email confirmation once the process is complete.
Coming Back Later?
No problem! Just log back in and your profile, school connections, and booking history will be ready to go.
