Be found on ClassCover under your correct role type by taking 1 minute to update via the new role categorisation feature.

Learn how to do this below πŸ‘‡

ClassCover is always evolving to meet the needs of school communities. While we originally started as a way to connect casual relief teachers with schools, roles types being booked for work on the ClassCover platform is growing and expanding.

To ensure the platform continues to simplify the booking process for everyone, regardless of what job you do, we have introduced different role types on ClassCover.

Role types now identified on ClassCover

  • Teacher

  • University Student, Interim approved

  • School Administrator

  • SASS Officer

  • Teacher Aide

  • Teacher Assistant

  • SLSO

  • Cleaner

  • Other (If you are a non-teacher but your role does not yet have a user type in the system)

What's now changed with the addition of new role type categories

You can continue to use the app as you were before, however stating your correct role type via your profile will allow for schools to find you to add you to their list, and will also mean schools can better manage you as part of their list in terms of sending booking requests, communicating with you and organising their staff.

What you need to do if you are a non teacher or a university student with interim approval

If you are a teacher on ClassCover already, you don't need to make any changes.

If you are sitting under one of the non teaching roles we have outlined above, you simply need to login to ClassCover on the desktop version to update your role type via your profile.

How to update your role type on ClassCover

  1. Login to ClassCover and head over to your profile here.

  2. Under your name, you will see your role type. Click on 'Edit Type'

3. A pop up will appear which will allow you to select your role type. Click save and you are done!

You will now be categorised and easily searchable on ClassCover under your correct role title.
