Search, also called Omnisearch, is one place to find almost anything in your account: customers, orders, phone numbers and settings pages. It also works with a barcode scanner, so you can open an order by scanning its ticket.
How to open Search
You can open Search from anywhere in CleanCloud. Do either of these:
Select the Search (magnifying glass) icon near the bottom of the left sidebar.
Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows.
The Search window opens in the center of the screen, ready for you to type.
How to search
Type in the search field. Results update as you type. You can search by:
Customer name
Phone number
Order number or order ID
Barcode
Settings pages
Orders: results show the order status, due date and customer. Select an order to open it. From there you can see the timeline and machine history, view items, edit the order, report an issue, change its status, print and take the next step, like payment.
Customers: results show the customer’s active orders, the next step for each one, their profile and their message history. You can also create an order or edit the profile from here.
Settings: search for a page, like Users, and select it to open it directly.
Barcode: with the Search window open, scan an order ticket to open the order straight away.
Quick actions
Below the search field, Quick Actions gives you shortcuts to common tasks. One of them is Advanced Search.
Advanced Search
Use Advanced Search when a normal search returns too many results, or when you know several details about an order.
How to run an advanced search
Open Search and select Advanced Search under Quick Actions.
In the Search Type dropdown, choose what you’re looking for, like Orders or Customers. The filters below change to match.
Fill in the filters you need.
Set a date range if you need one.
Select Search in the bottom-right corner.
To start again, select Clear All.
Order filters
Type in any of these:
Order ID
Customer name
Phone number
Email address
Address
Use the dropdowns to narrow results by:
Order Status: the order’s current stage.
Payment Status: whether it’s paid.
Order Type: in-store, pickup and delivery and so on.
Route Number: orders on a specific route.
Business: orders linked to a business account.
Payment Type: the payment method used.
Summary and Notes: orders containing specific text.
Rack Number: where the order is stored.
Date filters
Created Date Range: when the order was created.
Paid Date Range: when payment was received.
Cleaned Date Range: when the order was cleaned.
Select a range to choose a start and end date. Use as many or as few filters as you need. The more you add, the more specific the results.
Example: to find unpaid orders created between September 1 and September 14, set Payment Status to unpaid and Created Date Range to those dates, then select Search.
