Introduction to using Automations in Clubworx to Automate messaging to your contacts

Automations allows you to create automated messages or series of messages that are sent to your clients or members based on triggers

Clubworx Automations allow you to perform various automated actions within Clubworx including messaging contacts and sending communications to your staff.

Here's a quick intro to familiarise you with Automations.

You will find your Automations in your side menu:

Once you've clicked on the Automations link you will be brought to the screen below. In the first instance, your screen will not show any Automations until you've created them, but over time this is the overview of how your automated messages are progressing.


Let's create an Automation.  

Step 1: Click the + New Automation button

Step 2: Select a trigger to enrol your contact into the Automation. Contacts in your Clubworx account that fit one of these triggers will be automatically added to the sequence you create with that trigger. The video above explains each trigger.

Step 3: You will be presented with the creation screen.  For messaging (EG: Email, SMS, Push Notifications), you will see a box that says Blank Template and under that box will be any other email templates you have already developed and saved in Clubworx. For other actions (EG: Add memberships, Add Workout, Add Task), you will see all available options.

Step 4:  Drag your actions over.  

Step 5: Specify how many days between messages your email series is sent.  If a payment fails, you don't want 5 messages all being sent to your client at the same time. Automations give you the ability to space these messages out every few days so they can be more effective.

Step 6: Save your Automation to save it for later, or click "Save & Activate" to set it live immediately!
