CoachRx supports uploading your own exercise demonstration videos directly into the platform. Use your own coaching cues, your own movement standards, and your own brand instead of relying on the default exercise library. This article walks through the upload flow, thumbnail generation, the coach video library, and how to assign custom videos to exercises in your programs.
Where to upload videos
There are two entry points to upload a coach video:
From the Exercise Library: Open any exercise, click the Video tab, and choose Upload Custom Video.
From your Coach Video Library: Navigate to Library - Coach Videos and click Upload. From here you can upload videos in bulk and assign them to exercises later.

Thumbnail generation
CoachRx automatically generates a thumbnail from a frame in your video after processing completes. You can also upload a custom thumbnail or pick a different frame from the player. Processing typically takes one to three minutes per video depending on length and file size.
Assigning a coach video to an exercise
Open the exercise in your Exercise Library.
Click the Video tab.
Choose Replace with Coach Video.
Select the video from your coach library, or upload a new one.
Save. Clients will see your custom video the next time they open the exercise.
Managing your coach video library
The Coach Video Library gives you a single view of every video you have uploaded. From here you can:
Search for a specific exercise video by name
Filter by which exercises currently use the video
Replace a video and have the update apply everywhere it is assigned
Clear all demo videos from a program in one click (useful when switching from default to coach-uploaded video for a program template)
Permissions
Coach video upload is available on every paid CoachRx plan. Coaches with the Coach role can upload videos for the exercises in their own programs. Admins, Super Admins, and Owners can upload videos that apply across the entire organization library.
