What Are Rich Media Drops?
Create a one-link destination for your fans to engage with your content across all relevant platforms. These links will allow you to add released music, media files such as YouTube videos or any video or image files and you can add any links, including any pre-saves, event ticketing and merchandise.
Why Use Rich Media Drops?
These turn a standard drop into a customizable mini websites for artists, which are easy to update! You can keep all of an artists’ relevant information all in one place while collecting first party data that you’d be able to collect in any of our other drops.
Artists can post these links in any of their socials bios, and you can continuously update them so that you’re not having to change out the link every couple weeks/months.
How Do I Set Up Rich Media Drops?
You can add Rich Media to any Drop you already have running. If you are starting from scratch, you can follow these steps:
Click on Drop to create a new Drop
Select from the 4 templates, based on the purpose of the Drop. This is what will appear at the very top of your Media Page.
Once you’ve finished setting this up, click Content in the left hand side bar. There, you can add different sections for your Media Page. These are broken down into Songs (tracks that have already been released), Links (can include any links including anything from a pre-save to merch), Media (can include any images or videos that you have of the artists or any YouTube videos).
Easily add any sections as more things for the artist start to come up! Click on Add Section to add any more content. Use the buttons in the Top Right Hand corner of each section to delete or hide any of the content. And use the dragger in the left hand side to move anything within a section or move the sections themselves.
Then you can add any style & design or additional tools as you normally would for any other drop!
What Do Rich Media Drops Look Like?
