1. How to Add Eduphoria Assignments to CoGrader

Downloading Student Typed Responses (Constructed Responses)

This method uses the official reporting tool to extract the text students typed directly into the test.

  1. Log in to Eduphoria and open Aware.

  2. Go to the Analyze tab, then select Reports.

  3. Click on the Student Constructed Response Tool.

  4. Select the test you want to grade from the assessment table.

  5. (Optional) Apply filters (Groups, Questions, etc.) to narrow the student set.

  6. Under the report options, click the 🖨️ menu (often next to "Refresh Data") and select Export CSV.

  7. Save the CSV file to your computer. This file contains all the student responses in a bulk, machine-readable format.

Upload Submissions to CoGrader

1. Open CoGrader.

2. Click Grade + or Grade Essay > Create Manually

3. Enter the assignment name and prompt

4. Select or create a rubric, add Grading Parameters and Advanced Rules as desired

5. Upload to CoGrader

  • In your assignment setup, below Submissions, select Import from CSV.

  • Map “Student name” to the name field and “Assignment content” to submission content.

  • Click Import.

Now, each student’s submission will appear separately and be graded individually.

CoGrader will import the student work and begin grading automatically.

Alternative: Copying Student Text From Eduphoria Responses

If you are unable to download the files:

  1. Open Eduphoria and navigate to Student Responses.

  2. Click on an individual student’s name.

  3. Copy the response text.

  4. In CoGrader, create the assignment without submissions.

  5. Click on "Add Submissions", select "Add manually" then paste the student response. and repeat for all students.

This method takes longer but works when no file exports are available.

2. Review and Approve Grading in CoGrader

Once grading is complete:

  1. Open each student submission in CoGrader.

  2. Review the score and feedback.

  3. Edit scores or comments if needed.

  4. Click Approve when you’re ready to finalize.

3. Export Feedback from CoGrader

  1. Return to your CoGrader assignment dashboard.

  2. Click Export Feedback.

  3. Select Download as PDF.

  4. CoGrader will provide a ZIP file with one PDF per student.

4. Upload Feedback Back to Eduphoria

Eduphoria does not allow bulk file uploads to student responses, so attachments must be added individually.

  1. Go back to Eduphoria and open Aware.

  2. Open your assessment, then go to Student Responses.

  3. Select a student.

  4. Use the Add Attachment or Upload button (varies by district settings).

  5. Attach the correct feedback PDF from the CoGrader ZIP.

  6. Repeat for each student.

  7. Refresh the page to confirm that each attachment is saved.
