Processing Messages in Intake

Printing, downloading, replying and forwarding messages

Messages and faxes received into your account are handled from My Intake. From here, you will process the messages and associated attachments, and file to your patient record, either in paper charts or electronically. 

This may include performing Triage, where attachments may be separated into individual documents prior to final processing of a message or fax. 

If a reply or forward of a message is needed, this should be completed prior to marking a message as processed

In the case where a message or fax is received, but not needed, it may be deleted.

IMPORTANT: Before you can begin to process messages from your Intake, you will need to install the Client, Client for Mac, or Desktop

Your system administrator has configured the download settings for your instance.
