Uploading your transcript is the first step to unlocking powerful insights from your conversations. This guide will walk you through the process:
Begin Your Upload
Locate and click the "Upload Conversation" button on the left-hand menu. This initiates the upload process.
Select "Text or Transcript"
A pop-up window will appear, offering different upload options. Choose "Text or Transcript" since you're working with a pre-existing transcript.
Paste Your Transcript
Copy your transcript and paste it into the provided text box. Well-formatted transcripts with timestamps are ideal, but Contented handles various formats effectively.
Title Your Conversation
Enter a clear, descriptive title for your conversation in the "Title" field. This helps you easily identify and manage your conversations within Contented.
Upload & Save
Click the "Upload & Save" button to begin processing your transcript. Contented will automatically analyse and organize the text.
Processing and Next Steps
A progress bar will indicate the processing status. Upon completion, you'll see options to edit speakers and entities (recommended for optimal results) or to proceed directly to content creation.
Speakerless Transcripts
If your transcript lacks speaker information, Contented will display a notification. While speaker identification features won't be available, you can still add attendees and entities for valuable context.
Enhancing Context with Attendees
Click the "Attendees" icon in the conversation view. Add attendees manually, select a pre-existing group, or create a new group. This contextual information significantly enhances the quality of Contented's outputs.
Refining with Entities
Click the "Entities" icon to review and edit automatically identified names, companies, and locations. This ensures accuracy and improves the precision of your insights.
Quick Copy
The "Copy" icon at the top right allows you to instantly copy the entire transcript to your clipboard for use in other applications.
Automatic Chapter Summary
Contented automatically generates a chapter summary from your transcript, providing a concise overview of the key discussion points.
