Enabling or Disabling notifications

You can easily enable or disable any of the available notifications in your Corksy admin portal.

  1. From your Corksy admin portal, go to SettingsNotifications

  2. Use the toggles to enable or disable specific notifications based on your needs.

Customizing Individual Notifications

  1. From your Corksy admin portal, go to SettingsNotifications

  2. Select the notification you want to edit by clicking on its name.

  3. You’ll then see the following customization options:

    • Store Logo: Your store logo is automatically pulled into the email template for consistent branding.

    • Banners: Add unique banners for different notifications to highlight specific messaging or promotions.

    • Subject Line: Edit the subject line to reflect your preferred tone or branding.

    • Body Content: Customize the email body text.

      • Important note: Be mindful of any bracketed fields (e.g., {{Order_Number}}, {{Customer_Name}}, {{wine_club_name}}). These fields are placeholders that communicate important dynamic information to your customers and should not be altered or removed.

        • Example: “Thank you for your order, {{CustomerName}}!”

    • Footer: You can also add custom content to the footer of your email notifications, such as Contact information, Store hours, Special promotions or links.

  4. Click Save

Understanding Notification Triggers

As a part of Corksy's services, we send a handful of email notifications to you and your customers, depending on different actions taken on the site. These email notification are automatic and do not require additional setup on your end.

Understanding Admin notification triggers

Admin Wine Club notifications

  • New wine club signup

    • Wineries get this notification after online signups and manual signups

  • Canceled wine club notification

    • Send after the winery cancels a wine club member

  • Switched wine club notification

    • Send after a customer or winery changes a wine club type for a customer

  • Order processed - Shipping Orders - Winemakers Choice and Customers Choice

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to the winery only from customers who choose shipping for orders.

  • Order processed - Pickup Orders - Winemakers Choice and Customers Choice

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to the winery only from customers who choose pickup for orders.

  • Order fulfilled - Pickup Orders - Winemakers Choice and Customers Choice

    • Send after the winery changes the fulfillment type from unfulfilled to fulfilled AKA the package was picked up in store. Send to the winery from customers who only choose pickup for orders.

  • Order fulfilled - Shipping Orders - Winemakers Choice and Customers Choice

    • Send after the winery changes the fulfillment type from unfulfilled to fulfilled AKA the tracking details have been entered into Corksy. Send to the winery from customers who only choose shipping for orders.

Admin eCommerce notifications

  • New account creation

    • Send after the customer creates an account for the first time

  • Order processed - Shipping Orders

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to the winery only from customers who choose shipping for orders.

  • Order processed - Pickup Orders

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to the winery only from customers who choose pickup for orders.

  • Order fulfilled - Pickup Orders

    • Send after the winery changes the fulfillment type from unfulfilled to fulfilled AKA the package was picked up in store. Send to the winery from customers who only choose pickup for orders.

  • Order fulfilled - Shipping Orders

    • Send after the winery changes the fulfillment type from unfulfilled to fulfilled AKA the tracking details have been entered into Corksy. Send to the winery from customers who only choose shipping for orders.

  • Order canceled - Pickup orders

    • Send to winery after customer or winery cancels their ecommerce pickup orders

  • Order canceled - Shipping orders

    • Send to the winery after customer or winery cancels their ecommerce pickup orders

Admin Event and Tasting Reservation notifications

  • Online reservation confirmation

    • Send to the winery after the winery or customer books a reservation and the card is successfully charged

  • Reservation canceled

    • Send after the winery or customer cancels a reservation

Customer Wine Club notifications

  • New wine club signup

    • Customer gets this notification after online wine club signups and manual signups

  • Switched wine club

    • Send after a customer or winery changes a wine club type for a customer

    • Send after the winery cancels a wine club member

  • Winemakers Choice Package is open

    • Send to the customer after the winery hits the OPEN wine club button. Send to customers who choose pickup or shipping for orders.

  • Customer Choice Package is open

    • Send to the customer after the winery hits the OPEN wine club button. Send to customers who choose pickup or shipping for orders.

  • Customer Choice Package - Reminder to customize wines

    • Sends 1 week after the winery clicks OPEN package. Send only if the customer still needs to customize their wine selection. Sends to the customer from those who choose pickup or shipping for orders.

  • Winemakers Choice and Customer Choice Package - Order processed - Shipping orders

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to customers who choose only shipping for orders.

  • Winemakers Choice and Customer Choice Package - Order processed - Pickup orders

    • Send after the winery closes and fulfills the order AKA card is charged. Do not send if the credit card fails. Do not send if shipcompliant fails. Send to customers who choose only pickup for orders.

  • Winemakers Choice and Customer Choice Package - Order fulfilled - Pickup orders

    • Send after the winery changes the Fulfillment status from unfulfilled to fulfilled. Send to customers who choose only pickup for orders.

  • Winemakers Choice and Customer Choice Package - Order fulfilled - Shipping orders

    • Send after the winery adds the tracking details to the order AKA when the Fulfillment status is changed from unfulfilled to fulfilled. Send to customers who choose only shipping for orders.

Customer eCommerce notifications

  • New account creation

    • Send after the customer tries to login and doesn't have an account

  • Order processed - Pickup orders

    • Customers who purchase an online order and select pickup. Send this email after the credit card is successfully charged and order passes shipcompliant

  • Order processed - Shipping orders

    • Customers who purchase an online order and select shipping. Send this email after the credit card is successfully charged and order passes shipcompliant.

  • Order fulfilled - Pickup orders

    • Send after the winery changes the status of a pickup order from unfulfilled to fulfilled

  • Order fulfilled - Shipping orders

    • Send after the winery changes the status of a shipping order from unfulfilled to fulfilled OR when the tracking details are purchased through Corksy

  • Order canceled - Pickup orders

    • Customers who cancel their ecommerce pickup orders

  • Order canceled - Shipping orders

    • Customers who cancel their ecommerce shipping orders

Customer Event and Tasting Reservation notifications

  • Online reservation confirmation

    • Send when the customer successfully books a reservation online and the card is charged

  • Reservation canceled

    • Send when the customer or winery cancels the reservation

  • Reservation reminder

  • Thank you for coming!
