You can add 4 different types of products to CCK. Physical Products, Digital Products, Services and Memberships. Each product has different features and functions.

Physical Product

Physical products are shipped to users by post or via courier and have to be a product with a physical weight. The weight of the product is linked to your shipping costs.

You can limit the amount of stock available and add product weight when you create a physical product on CCK.

User login or new user registrations will not be created in your CCK membership area for physical products.

Before a customer can buy your physical product, you need to add Shipping Options under Store ➡ Settings ➡ Shipping as shown below:

When your customer buys a physical product, they have to provide their physical shipping details or address. They receive an automated email invoice from the CCK system.

Digital Product

Digital products are digital files or images that can be in the following formats: PDF files, PNG files, JPG files and audio files such as MP3.

User login or new user registrations will not be created in your CCK membership area for digital products.

When your customer buys a digital product, they receive two automated system emails from the CCK system: an Email Invoice email and the Digital product download email.

Customers will be sent a secure link to download the file after purchase via email by the CCK system. Every link is unique and active only for 24 hours after the first download.

Service Product

A service product works for coaching or consulting products or services.

User login or new user registrations will not be created in your CCK membership area for service products.

When your customer buys a service product, they receive one single automated system email from the CCK system: 1. Email Invoice.

Membership Product

A membership product type can be used to add membership or course products to your CCK website.

User login or new user registration will be created in your CCK membership area for all membership product purchases.

When your customer buys a membership product, they receive two automated system emails from the CCK system: 1. Email Invoice and 2. Membership Details.

When your customer buys a digital, physical, service or membership product through a checkout page, they receive an automated email invoice from the CCK system as shown below. You can update the information highlighted below.

When your customer buys a membership product through a checkout page, they receive an automated email from the CCK system as shown below.

When you manually add a website member to your CCK website, your customer receives an automated email from the CCK system as shown below. This email contains a password setup button.
