Data & Coverage

  • How often is Courted's data updated?

Most data in Courted refreshes on a nightly basis — so production stats, agent profiles, and brokerage affiliations are generally current as of the prior evening. A few things to keep in mind:

    • Brokerage moves depend on when the MLS reflects the change. If an agent just switched offices, it may take a few days to a week before that shows up in Courted, depending on how quickly their MLS updates its records.

    • New transactions typically appear within 24–48 hours of closing and being recorded in the MLS.

    • Predictive scores (Potential to Move, Potential to Grow) are recalculated on a regular cycle rather than nightly — so these may lag slightly behind real-time production changes.

  • Which markets and MLSs does Courted cover?

    • Courted is integrated with MLSs across most major U.S. markets, with coverage expanding regularly. To see if your market is live, search for a well-known agent in that area -- if they appear, you're good. If not, message us via the chat icon or email hello@courted.io to request it. We track all requests and prioritize based on demand.

To add a market to your existing account, contact your Courted rep or reach out via support chat.

Account & Users

  • How do I add a new user or seat to my account? Head to User Management in your account settings to invite, edit, or remove users. New users will receive an email invitation to set up their account. If you don't see the option to add someone, your account may be at its seat limit -- just reach out and we'll sort it out.

  • What are the export limits, and what happens when I hit them? Export limits depend on your plan. At 75% of your limit you'll see a warning, and at 100% the export button will be disabled with a note explaining why. Limits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you're consistently hitting your limit or think there's an error in your count, reach out to your rep or support chat.

Agent Search

  • What do Sales Volume and GCI actually measure? Sales Volume reflects all closed transactions over the last 12 months. Agents get full credit for each side they represent, and 50% credit for co-list or co-buy transactions. Note that off-market deals and new developments aren't included unless entered into the MLS as comp-only transactions.

    • GCI is calculated by applying the commission percentage listed in the MLS to each closed transaction. Where commission data isn't available, Courted uses a local market average of 2.75% per side.

  • Why is commission/GCI data missing or incomplete for some agents? Following the NAR settlement in 2024, many MLSs stopped requiring buyer's agent commission to be listed. As a result, GCI figures for deals closed after mid-2024 may be less precise -- especially on the buyer's side. Where data is missing, Courted falls back to a 2.75% market average. This is an industry-wide shift affecting all MLS-based platforms, not just Courted.

  • What does "Potential to Move" or "Potential to Grow" mean? These are Courted's proprietary predictive scores -- Potential to Move forecasts the likelihood an agent switches brokerages, and Potential to Grow forecasts the likelihood they grow their business. Both are recalculated on a regular cycle. Check out our Predictive Analytics article for more detail.

  • How does Location search work? Location searches pull agents based on their Most Transacted City/Zip, current office location, or home location -- so an agent can show up in results for multiple areas. Note that this doesn't surface every agent who has ever transacted in a location. For that, use Market Share and filter by agent segment.

ComposeAI

  • Can I edit the email after it generates? Yes -- every draft is fully editable before you send. Think of it as a strong starting point, not a finished product.

  • Can I save my own instructions or tone preferences? Yes! Set Custom Instructions in your account settings to give ComposeAI context about your brokerage, value prop, and preferred tone. These persist across all emails so you don't have to re-enter them each time. See our Custom Instructions article for a full walkthrough.

  • How many emails can I generate per month? No hard cap -- generate as many drafts as you need.
