Hi there and welcome to Courted!
In this article, you'll learn how to set up Courted on your device so that it functions optimally with your email & phone so that you can send outreach from Courted more seamlessly.
There are a lot of details to set-up that vary based on which browser you use, what device you have, and which email client you use. Included here are some common options. Feel free to skip to the section that's relevant to you!
We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser and Gmail as your emailer, since that setup is the easiest. The video below walks through the setup for Chrome/Gmail, and the other options are written out below the video.
Email Set-up
Why do I care?
Courted provides email addresses where available in the MLS, and provides drafts for outreach for you through our tool ComposeAI. If you set up your default email client correctly, you'll be able to send outreach from Courted in one click, directly from your inbox.
Setting up Gmail
If you use Gmail as your primary email, set it as your default email client so that anytime you click on an email address, it opens up in Gmail!
Check out this article for how to set up Gmail as your default email in Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
Setting up Outlook
If you use Outlook as your primary email, set the Outlook desktop app to your default email client.
If you use a PC, check out this article for how to set up Outlook as your default email client.

Texting Set-up
Why do I care?
Courted provides phone numbers where available in the MLS, and provides drafts for outreach for you through our tool ComposeAI. If you set up texting on your computer correctly, you'll be able to send outreach from Courted in one click, directly from your phone number.
Texting on Macs
If you use a Mac and an iPhone, you will be able to send iMessages from your Mac by using the same Apple ID on your phone & your computer and using the Messages app! Check out this article for details on how to set that up.
If you use a Mac and an Android, the connection will be less seamless. You can still access, send, and receive texts on your computer - you'll just have to do it from your browser using the Google Messages web app. Check out this article for instructions.
Texting on PCs
Whether you use an iPhone or an Android, you have a few options for setting up texting on your PC. Check our articles on setting them up here.
