Understand How Members View Their Network Membership Information

Introduction

This guide explains what members see on the public membership page and their My Membership page, both at their Primary Location and any Network Locations. It highlights key features like membership details, benefits, and network access to ensure clarity and ease of use.

Choosing a Membership

On the public membership page, members can easily identify and compare membership options with clear labels and descriptions, including details about network status.

  1. Network Membership Tag: Each Network Membership is marked with a "Network" tag on its card, making it easy for members to recognize its network-wide access.

  2. Short Description: Each membership displays a short description pulled from the membership's general setup tab. This description appears on the membership card and is limited to 200 characters. Use this space to provide a concise summary that highlights key benefits.

  3. Features & Benefits: Showcase unique features of each membership by adding and organizing them in the membership’s Portal Settings tab. These features are displayed on the membership page and can be sorted to prioritize the most relevant details.

Tip: Use AI tools (like ChatGPT or Google Gemini) to create short, engaging content for your membership descriptions.

My Membership

My Membership - Primary Location

Members with a Network Membership will see the standard My Membership page when accessing their Primary Location (the location that owns their membership).

This page includes the following:

  1. Membership Name
    Displays the name of the Network Membership the member is enrolled in.

  2. Membership Details
    Provides key details about the membership, including:

    • Price

    • Last Billing Date

    • Next Billing Date

    Members can also manage their membership here, including options to Pay, Change, or Cancel their membership (if enabled in settings).

  3. Membership Benefits
    Lists the benefits available with their membership, pulling from the custom features added in the Portal Settings tab.

  4. Membership Billing
    Allows members to review past billing cycles and payment information related to their membership.

  5. Network Locations
    Displays the list of all network locations included with their membership. Selecting "See All" provides a complete list of locations the member can access with their Network Membership.

My Membership - Network Location

When members with a Network Membership view their My Membership page from a club in the network (not their Primary/Home Club), they will see a slightly adjusted layout. Since the membership is managed by their Primary Club, certain features are not available in the Network Location view.

This page includes the following:

  1. Membership Name
    Displays the membership name with "(Network)" appended to indicate the network counterpart assigned at this location.

  2. Membership Details

    • Members cannot manage their membership (e.g., Pay, Change, or Cancel) from a Network Location.

    • A quick link is provided to direct members to the My Membership page at their Primary Club, where they can make changes or process payments for their membership dues.

  3. Membership Benefits
    Shows the list of benefits available with their membership, pulled from the custom features added in the Portal Settings tab.

  4. Network Locations
    Members can choose "See All" to view the full list of locations in the network that they can access with their Network Membership.

  5. Billing Information
    Note: Billing details (e.g., billing history, payment information) are not displayed in Network Location views, as all membership billing is managed at the Primary Club.
