INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: System users can set rules to limit court booking access by membership type.
Use Cases: Managing court access can be challenging in clubs with a diverse mix of membership types, especially during peak hours. To help balance facility usage, system users can restrict certain membership types from booking specific courts, facilities, or equipment during defined time blocks and days. These restrictions directly affect member access to club facilities, so itโs important to review and configure the settings carefully to ensure a fair and consistent booking experience.
The Booking Settings section is made up of several pages. This article explains the Booking Windows page.

PREREQUISITES
System users need a clear understanding of the club's booking rules and regulations.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Click SETTINGS on the side menu.
Scroll down the page to BOOKING SETTINGS and click Booking Windows.
Create closed and open windows by membership type (see below).
There is no Save button on this page. CourtReserve auto-saves any changes.
Configure the Settings
System users can create an open window (members/players can book court time during this period) or a closed window (members/players cannot book court time during this period).
Choose a membership type.
Click the Add New button. Optionally, click the button in the ITEM column to create a single window for every membership type.
Fill in the fields.
Click Save changes.
Fill in the Fields
Booking window type - Choose Open or Closed Window.
Court Type - Choose court type. To create a booking window for all court options, create multiple windows.
Courts - Select one or all court options.
Day of the week - Select an option. Weekends and Weekdays are available options.
Start / End Time - Enter the clock time to start and end the window.
Notes - Add a message to display on the member portal. This text replaces the default text, "Closed Window."
If a system user creates an Open Booking Window for a court type, CourtReserve automatically treats all other times for that court type as closed.
For instance, if an Open Booking Window is set for hard courts between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM for the Basic membership type, a Basic member trying to book a hard court at 12:00 PM will see an error message because that time falls outside the open window.
You can create multiple Open Booking Windows for the same facility if needed.
Manage Windows
To update a booking window, click the Edit icon. Update the information and click Save changes. To remove a window, click the trash icon and click Yes in the confirmation popup.
