To copy from one estimate to another:

  1. Click Main Menu < File Menu, then Open:

  2. Click the name of the existing estimate you want to copy from.

  3. Select the lines or sections you want to copy.

  4. Click the Copy icon.

  5. Click Open and the file name to bring the second estimate on screen.

  6. Click in the second estimate where you want to paste.

  7. Click the Paste icon.

Tips:

  • Not everything is copied when you copy from one estimate to another. For example, percentage changes to cost columns are not copied. Neither are double spacing, sales tax, markup, or unit costs. You can set these options in your estimate either before or after costs are copied to an estimate.

  • Remember to change any quantities that are different in the two jobs. To change a quantity, double-click on the cost line. That opens the Cost Row Editor where you can make changes. When done, click Save.
