How Creator Search Works

Creally Search helps you discover relevant creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Describe the creators and content you are looking for in natural language so Creally turns that description into multiple search directions, scans content on the selected platform, and filters the results based on your requirements.

How a search works

When you create a search, Creally:

  1. Analyzes your description.

  2. Generates relevant keywords and content signals automatically.

  3. Searches for creators on the selected platform and within the selected market.

  4. Removes duplicate and unavailable profiles.

  5. Applies your creator filters.

  6. Adds the creators who pass all checks to your Creators database.

You can open the results while the search is still running. The number of available creators may continue to grow until the search is completed.

Search Country and creator location

Search Country and the Countries creator filter serve different purposes.

Search Country defines the market in which Creally searches for content. You can select one Search Country for each search.

Countries under Creator Filters limits the results by the creator’s estimated location. This is not the location of the creator’s audience.

For example, you can run a search in the United States without limiting creator location. Creally may then find creators from other countries whose content appears within the US search market. If the cre

Description based discovery

Your description is the main input for the search. It can include:

  • the creator’s niche

  • the topics they should regularly cover

  • relevant content formats or use cases

  • the type of audience or problem their content addresses

  • a link to your product or website

  • subjects that should be excluded

You do not need to write or upload keywords manually. Creally generates them from your description and shows the generated search directions on the Search Details page.

The search analyzes content signals rather than looking for an exact phrase in a creator’s bio. Two creators can therefore match the same description even if they use different wording to describe their content.

How creators are filtered

Creally first discovers a broad pool of creators and then applies your selected filters.

By default, the final results exclude:

  • creators without a usable email address

  • generic addresses such as support@ or admin@

  • private profiles

  • duplicate creators found through more than one generated keyword

  • creators already added to your company’s Creators database

  • brand accounts, unless you select "Include brand accounts" option

Optional filters can further narrow the results by creator location, follower count, content language, creator age and gender, median views, and engagement rate.

Age and gender refer to the creator, not their audience.

What happens after the search starts

While a search is running, open it to review the creators found so far or select "View Creators" to work with the available results.

Once the search is completed, the Search Details page shows:

  • the creators delivered to your account

  • the broader pool discovered before filters

  • the percentage of creators that passed

  • the main reasons other creators were filtered out

  • the keywords generated from your description

  • an AI Analysis of the search

  • a suggested follow-up search when Creally identifies a useful adjustment

Search volume depends on the platform, market, niche, available public contact information, and the filters you select. A search does not guarantee a fixed number of creators.

If a valid search returns fewer creators than expected, review the Filter Funnel before creating another search. It shows which requirements had the largest effect on the result.
