How to Set Up a Search Campaign

A
Written by Azema

The first step in creating any outreach campaign is to compile a list of creators to whom the our messages will be sent.

You describe the profile of the creator you want to find (e.g., find wellness influencers who share content about psychology and self-help, anxiety management, and stress reduction strategies), and the platform will automatically create a list of relevant hashtags to conduct the search

How to create a search campaign?

  1. Navigate to the Search tab and click the 'Create New' button

2. Enter the campaign name, platform (TikTok or Instagram), Search Country (for TikTok searches only, you can select the desired audience location. Note: it’s NOT the country where creator is based, you can select this filter further), and search type - by keywords or by description.

3. You have the option to filter creators - there are 2 types of them:

  • General Filters

    • Follower Count (Min/Max)

    • Gender (male/female)

    • Age Range (18-24/25-34/35-44/…)

    • Country (creator’s location)

    • Language (content language)

    • Relevance Score.

A personalized score calculated for every creator. It takes a lot of factors into account including contextual relevancy of the content, authenticity of creator, brand safety, and many other parameters. Algorithm also learns from successful collaborations that happened on Creally and rank similar creators higher. If you’re looking for weight-loss influencers, you don’t just want someone who mentioned it once. Our score distinguishes between a creator who posted one weight-loss video among a sea of unrelated content and a dedicated specialist whose entire account is built around the topic. The specialist gets the high score and your attention.

    • Performance Score

Possible performance of creators compared to other creators in this space and overall virality of the creator. This complex metric includes the ratio of median views to followers, frequency of posting, outliers frequency and their ratio and many other stats.

    • Brand Accounts (Select this if you want also add brand accounts to search results - for example, if you’re looking to see what brands are trending in certain keywords)

  • Platform-specific Filters

    • Median Views Count (Min/Max)

    • Engagement Rate (%, Min/Max)

    • Videos/Reels Count

4. Click the 'Create Campaign' button.

Hooray, the search has begun!

IMPORTANT:

  • Audience Country is not the creator's country of residence, but the country where the creator's audience is located. For example, if you select Italy as the region, you will get a list of creators who have an audience in Italy, not a list of creators from Italy. To get the list of creators from Italy, you need to specify it in General Filters by selecting Italy in ‘Countries’.

  • Use keywords without spaces. The number of keywords is limited to 30 per a TikTok search and 10 per an Instagram search campaign.

  • You can only run one Instagram search at a time. Please wait until the previous task finishes to start another

  • Search results are dynamic and update frequently. You can restart tasks using the same keywords or descriptions and still find new creators, let’s say, in a week. It’s useful when you’ve found a great keywords and what to gather all creators that create content in this theme, continiously.

WHAT IF…

I need to filter creators beyond just description and platform?

Use our AI agent for that. It can filter creators during the conversation using various criteria, including audience, location, language, pricing, and more. You can specify these filters in the agent's prompt to receive the most up-to-date stats and precise results.

The whole process looks like this:

Start a search campaign → outreach to these creators → AI agent asks for their stats (or any other info you need to decide whether to collaborate or not) → AI agent analyzes the info based on criteria defined in the prompt → rejects or approves the creator for further communication → you get the best-fit creators in your inbox.

I need creators in a specific location?

For the best results, use our Countries filter. If you need to get even more specific results (e.g. State/City), use keywords and the language specific to that region.

Looking for Italians? Use Italian keywords.

Targeting a city? Search using city names and local "hotspots": landmarks, famous cafes (Erewhon, Crumbl), or local events (NYCPride, Broadwaycon).

This ensures your search finds the creators who are actually part of that local community.
