Nominees do not have access to your Vault during your lifetime. They can only see the information assigned to them after an emergency activation is confirmed. Until that moment, your data remains fully private and secure.
Before Activation (Normal Life)
Nominees cannot:
Access your files
View any personal information
See your Vault or folders
Make changes to your account
They only appear as “pending nominees” in your profile.
After Activation (Emergency or Death)
Nominees can:
Access only the files, folders, and notes you assigned to them
Read your messages or instructions
Download documents you prepared for them
Nominees cannot:
Access items not assigned to them
Edit or delete your files
Modify your Vault
Troubleshooting
Nominee can't see anything: Activation has not occurred; this is normal.
Nominee sees fewer items than expected: Check their assigned folders.
You want to change what a nominee will receive: Update folder assignments.
