Only available to DecipherAg Plus or Biomass+ users
Unlocking your yield data is simple with DecipherAg.
Step 1. Activate your Yield Data
Contact your Account Manager or email decipheragsupport@csbp.com.au to have Yield Data activated on your account.
Once activated, click on the Imagery tab in the left hand menu and select Yield on the drop down menu.
You will now be able to see the "add yield" button on the right-hand side.
Step 2. Upload your yield data
There are a few different ways to upload your yield data into DecipherAg depending on whether the data needs processing.
Upload a GeoTiff file (free)
Already processed yield, in the form of a geoTIFF, can be uploaded via My Imagery - Yield and viewed via the Imagery tab.
Note: there is no charge to upload geoTIFF file to your DecipherAg account. Your data will be displayed in a yield map layer which is interactive, meaning you can create zones and prescription files. Read more on how to upload a GeoTiff file here.
OR
Upload a zipped raw yield file (fees apply)
Raw yield files that have been taken straight from the yield monitor can be imported into DecipherAg using the Add Yield button in the Imagery - Yield tab. Raw yield data will need to be processed by our support team before it can be displayed as a yield map.
Read more on how to upload a Zip file here.
OR
Upload a raw yield file via the John Deere Operations Center
Option 1: Send a request to decipheragsupport@csbp.com.au from your MyJohnDerre account manager's address.
Option 2: Grant access in MyJohnDeere to DecipherAg Support.
Read more on how to do upload data from the John Deere Operations Center here.
Step 3. Review the yield map and organise cleaning if required (fees apply)
Using the filters, select the farm, paddock, the yield presentation (gridded or contoured), and the crop type to view the yield on your map.
Tips for uploading yield:
Make sure your farm boundaries are set up in DecipherAg before uploading yield data. Read more on how to do this here.
Ensure the yield crop types are present in the Paddock Plans crop types.
The raw yield files that have been uploaded are stored in the MyData tab. The folder is /Yield/Year/Farm
Files from different yield monitors can be uploaded at the same time
Follow the naming protocol when uploading already processed yield:
[Farm] [Season] – [Paddock] – [Crop] – ‘Yield’ ‘Raw’
Example: Home 2022 - Pdk 1 - Wheat - Yield Raw
