Fanatic Filters requires a video loop through the CUE laptop, your camera feeds go into the laptop, the filters are applied, and then the processed video goes back out to your switcher.
The signal flow works like this: Your switcher's ME bus output connects to the Magewell capture device via SDI, which converts the signal to USB for the laptop.
The laptop processes the video and adds filters, then outputs via HDMI from the back of the laptop. That HDMI signal goes into the cross-converter, which converts it back to SDI to feed into an available input on your switcher.
On your switcher, you would cut cameras on a secondary ME bus while keeping CUE as a source on your program bus. This allows you to switch between different camera angles while the filters are being applied, and then take the filtered output to air when ready.
