Why can only one FanSee mainboard link be open at a time?

FanSee's mainboard link can only be active in one location at a time because the system needs to know where to route the incoming fan video feeds to your video board. If the same mainboard link is opened on multiple computers simultaneously—for example, one person designing on their laptop while another runs the live output in the control room—the feeds will conflict and the video streams may not appear correctly on your screens. While you can freely work on design elements and configuration from any computer, only one instance of the mainboard can be actively receiving live feeds at a time. To avoid conflicts during your event, close the mainboard link on any device where you're doing design or testing work, and only have it open on the machine that's actually outputting to your screens.
