FanSee uses two key mobile graphics that work together to create a polished fan experience:
**Mobile Frame Graphic:** The mobile frame is a graphic overlay that appears on fans' phones around their camera feed but is NOT displayed on the video board output. This makes it ideal for branding and fan guidance. Design it with a transparent center section (so the camera feed shows through) and add a header and/or footer with your team logo, sponsor branding, and instructional text. For example, include messages like 'Hold phone still for best results' or 'Smile! You might appear on the big screen!' These instructions are crucial—when fans see themselves on the big screen, they often get excited and move their phones around, which creates motion-sickness-inducing footage. A simple on-screen reminder helps ensure professional, watchable video feeds.
**Mobile Background Graphic:** CUE recommends baking everything into a single 9x16 mobile background graphic rather than using separate elements. This gives you more creative control over logo placement, allows you to add custom dialogue text (like 'You're in the right spot for fan cam. We're going to get started soon.'), and lets you use multiple fonts if desired. Design it in Photoshop or your preferred tool and upload as a single file. The background can be either a static image or a video (keep videos under 12MB)—some clients add subtle animations like a loading indicator or a character moving across the screen to make the waiting experience more engaging. When using this approach, you don't need to separately upload a home screen logo since everything is already included.
