What are the file size limits for uploading images and videos to CUE's platform?

CUE enforces the following file size limits to ensure optimal performance across all devices and network conditions:

• Images: Maximum 2 megabytes • Video content (such as motion graphics): Maximum 12 megabytes

These limits are particularly important for mobile-facing assets, as they ensure fast load times for fans participating in activations—especially in venue environments where cellular connectivity may be limited. Our mobile experiences are designed to total 10 megabytes or less for smooth performance regardless of network conditions.

If your files exceed these limits, you'll need to compress or optimize them before uploading. For most graphics like logos, backgrounds, and answer images, standard web-optimized PNGs or JPGs work well. You can see the recommended resolution and accepted file types for any upload field by clicking on the cloud upload icon—it will display the exact specifications needed. When graphics are properly sized to these dimensions, they'll typically fall well under the file size limits and deliver a snappy, professional mobile experience.
