In PostUP, instances and moderations serve different but complementary purposes. An instance is your specific PostUP configuration—essentially a collection of settings, graphics, branding, and unique QR code. Think of it as a template for a specific event or use case. You might create separate instances for different events (graduation, football games, robotics events), different sponsors, or different activation types, each with its own unique visual branding. A moderation is where all submitted photos and videos are collected and managed for review. You can configure multiple instances to feed into a single moderation (allowing different branding but a shared photo pool), or you can create separate moderations to keep content completely separate between events. For example, you could have photos from a Breast Cancer Awareness Night in one moderation while regular game photos flow into another. This flexibility allows you to customize the visual experience while managing content flow in whatever way makes sense for your organization.
