Once you have installed the Cuez Gateway and paired it to your project, you can connect it to your WinPlus-IP software to start loading Episodes.
Setting up the Cuez Gateway as a newsroom in WinPlus-IP
In WinPlus-IP, go to the 'Newsrooms' section and add a newsroom.
Add your new newsroom following the example settings below:
Newsroom type: has to be set to 'MOS'
Name: can be any name you choose to identify your newsroom
IP Address: will be your local host, so 127.0.0.1
Lower Port: keep set to 10540
Upper Port: keep set to 10541
NCS ID: has to be 'cuez', all small letters
MOS ID: can be any name you choose to identify your prompting software in the Cuez Gateway application
With these settings filled out, click 'Apply' to add your newsroom.
Your newly added newsroom should now be shown in the list and have a green dot next to it, indicating it is correctly connected to the Cuez Gateway.
Loading a rundown (Episode) into WinPlus-IP
In WinPlus-IP, go to the 'Run Orders' section and select the option to 'Open Run Order from newsroom' (1). From the list, add 'Current Episode' as the loaded rundown. This should then appear in the run orders list (2).
Next, in the Cuez Gateway, select the Episode you want to open (3). The Episode will load in the Gateway application and will load into your prompting software as well.
You can then select which Blocks and badges you want to appear on the prompter via the Gateway.
