Learn how to load your Episodes into the CueScript / CueiT prompting software using the Cuez Gateway

Updated over a month ago

Once you have installed the Cuez Gateway and paired it to your project, you can connect it to your CueScript / CueiT software to start loading Episodes.

Setting up the Cuez Gateway as a newsroom in CueScript / CueiT

In CueScript / CueiT go to the Newsroom Profile section to add a Newsroom Profile Configuration.

To add the new newsroom profile, use the following settings:

  • Profile

    • Give it a unique Profile Name ('Cuez Gateway' for example)

    • Select a Newsroom: TinkerList / CueZ MOS Gateway (has to be this option)

  • Connection:

    • Server IP/Hostname: 127.0.0.1

    • Server Port: 10541

    • MOS NCSID: has to be 'cuez', all small letters

    • MOS ID: can be any name you choose to identify your prompting software in the Cuez Gateway application

    • Cue iT MOS Port: 10540

Loading a rundown (Episode) into CueScript / CueiT

In CueScript / CueiT, open a running order for the newsroom - select the 'Current Episode'.

Next, in the Cuez Gateway, select the Episode you want to open (3). The Episode will load in the Gateway application and will load into your prompting software as well.

You can then select which Blocks and badges you want to appear on the prompter via the Gateway.
