Video Overview

How to add Rental items to Curate:

  • Navigate to Catalog and click the Rentals Tab (if this is missing, please reach out to us and we'll setup a meeting to discuss getting it added to your account)

  • On the top right corner, click the Create rental button.

  • On the New Rental Screen, please add the name, pricing and Inventory amount. Description, photos, category and tags are optional

  • Once completed, this is what the finished product will look like!

How to add Rental items to an Event within the Proposal:

  • Click into the event and navigate to the Workroom - Proposal Details section and click Edit

  • Click + Add line item

  • Click the two arrow box beside the new line item to access the slide menu

  • Click the Recipes tab on the slide menu

  • Click into the + Add component box and search for the rental item by name. We have a special indicator to let you know the different between a rental item and a standard component as seen in the screenshot below

  • Once selected, enter the QTY amount and other details like you would for a standard component

I'm getting the Rentals Overbooked message. What do I do?

You have the ability to adjust the QTY at the Proposal level or add additional inventory from the Catalog - Rentals page. This won't stop you from being able to publish the proposal, it just serves as a reminder and warning that the QTY is allocated elsewhere during the same time period.
