Managing Rental Status & Logistics
Once rental items are added to an event, you can manage their movement and status via the Orders > Rentals page.
Tracking Item Status
We have introduced a dynamic status tracking system to help your team manage the warehouse and delivery workflow. You can now update items to the following statuses:
Pulled: The item has been pulled from the warehouse shelves.
Loaded: The item is securely loaded onto the delivery vehicle.
Delivered: The item has arrived at the event venue.
Returned: The item has been safely returned to your inventory.
Bulk Editing Rentals
To save time on large orders, use the Bulk Edit feature to update multiple items simultaneously:
Select Items: Use the checkboxes on the left side of the rental list to select the items you wish to modify.
Action Bar: Once items are selected, an action bar will appear at the top of the list.
Edit: Click the Edit button on the action bar to open the bulk edit panel.
Update Details: Within the panel, you can update the Rent Status, Date In, and Date Out for all selected items at once.
Multi-Day Bookings
The multi-day booking feature allows for precise inventory management over longer durations.
Navigate to the Workroom > Rentals page of your event.
Double-click the Date Out (the date the item leaves your warehouse) or Date In (the date it returns) to adjust the duration.
Curate will automatically calculate availability based on these specific dates.
Troubleshooting: "Rentals Overbooked" Warning
If you see an Overbooked message, it means the requested quantity exceeds your available inventory for those specific dates.
Resolution: You can either decrease the quantity on the Proposal, adjust the rental dates, or increase your total stock in the Catalog > Rentals section.
Note: This warning does not prevent you from publishing the proposal; it serves as a critical reminder for your logistics planning.
