How does matching work? ❓
The matching process involves the following:
Our customer team pitches the opportunity to mentors who would be strong candidates.
They share 2-3 mentor profiles with a family, giving them the opportunity to choose a mentor to begin with, or meet with a mentor for a paid Meet & Greet introduction before deciding.
We achieve a mutual agreement to commit to the engagement. 🤝
Our education team sends tools and resources to start your engagement off strong!
We continue to check in with you in Slack through your second session so that we can be confident about the match.
🕓 How soon will I get matched?
Once you complete the tasks highlighted in this tour of the Curious Cardinals Platform, you will be ready to receive matches. Multiple factors inform matching, such as the subjects you can teach, your experience and personality traits (which we get from your interview and bio), and your availability.
The better we know you, the better you can be surfaced as a candidate. You can help us out by filling out a robust profile later in this tour.
Depending on seasonal student needs and factors listed above, it may take a few days or weeks to receive your first match.
