AI Credits
What are AI Credits?
AI Credits are an internal currency used only for generating new AI images and videos in Cuttable's creative studio (Shoots).
When are AI Credits used?
AI Credits are deducted only when you generate new AI content:
1 image = 1 AI Credit
1 second of AI video = 3 AI Credits
For example, generating a 10-second AI video uses 30 AI Credits.
Asking Shoots to edit an existing AI-generated image or video, for example to change a background or adjust a detail, also generates a new version and uses an AI Credit in the same way as a new generation.
💡 Important rule: edits that don't change the result are refunded
If an edit you ask Shoots to make comes back identical to the original image or video, for example because the change you requested was already true of it, Cuttable automatically refunds the AI Credit used for that edit.
The AI Credit is returned to your balance as soon as Cuttable detects that the edit produced no change. You do not need to contact support or request the refund yourself.
When are AI Credits not used?
AI Credits are not used for:
Editing existing images or videos
Creating ads
Publishing ads
Downloading ads
Viewing performance insights
When are AI Credits allocated?
AI Credits are added to your account based on your subscription type.
Monthly subscription: AI Credits are allocated monthly and roll over each month until the end of your annual subscription term.
Annual subscription (paid upfront): your full year of AI Credits is credited to your account at the start of the annual term, and you can use them throughout the year as you like.
AI credits expire at the end of the annual subscription term.
Buying additional AI Credits (top-ups)
If you run out of AI Credits, you can purchase additional AI credits without upgrading your plan.
Do AI Credits expire?
AI Credits included in your plan expire at the end of your annual subscription term.
AI Credits that you've bought on top of your plan (top-ups) roll over month to month and will carry into your next subscription term if you renew your annual subscription.
Ad Exports
What are Ad Exports and how are they used?
Ad Exports are an entitlement used when you download or publish ads out of Cuttable.
An Ad Export is used when you:
Download an ad
Publish to Meta
It's important to note - you can generate unlimited ads inside Cuttable. Ad Exports are only used when you download or publish an ad.
💡 Important rule: downloading or publishing the same ad more than once
If you download or publish the same ad multiple times without making changes, it is only counted once.
This also applies when downloading or publishing different formats of the same ad. For example, downloading or publishing the 4:5, 1:1, and 9:16 versions of the same ad does not use additional Ad Exports.
To make changes to an ad that has been downloaded or published, duplicate it first. Downloading or publishing the duplicated ad will use a new Ad Export credit.
When are Ad Exports allocated?
Ad Exports are added to your account based on your subscription type.
Monthly subscription: Ad Exports are allocated monthly and roll over each month until the end of your annual subscription term.
Annual subscription (paid upfront): your full year of Ad Exports is credited to your account at the start of the annual term, and you can use them throughout the year as you like.
Buying additional Ad Exports (top-ups)
You can buy additional Ad Exports at $6 per Ad Export.
Failed publishes
If an ad fails to publish, it will not consume an Ad Export credit.
Failed publish attempts do not count toward your Ad Export usage
You can duplicate the failed ad, edit it, and publish again without using additional credits from the failed attempt
Do Ad Exports expire?
Ad Exports included in your plan expire at the end of your annual subscription term.
Ad Exports that you've bought on top of your plan (top-ups) roll over month to month and will carry into your next subscription term if you renew your annual subscription.
