Your clients have two options to train on Myndlift using content from Youtube. These are available from the games screen with the names "Video" and "Audio".
You have complete control over which content is available to your clients for training using the "Customize Clinic" section of your clinical dashboard - they can only train using videos that you add for them in the dashboard by enabling or disabling the YouTube feature from each person's account settings. Please note: enabling the YouTube feature is not available for the Starter Plan, meaning that managing video/audio links will be necessary.
The YouTube Video training option always has the audio on and the feedback is the screen brightness. The client may choose to allow the audio feedback along with the visual from their app. When your client receives positive feedback, the screen will increase its brightness, and while receiving negative feedback the screen will reduce its brightness.
The YouTube Audio training option always has the screen visible, and the feedback is received through the audio volume. When your client receives positive feedback, the sound will be audible, while negative feedback will result in a lower volume. This is good for eyes closed training options.
To add or remove YouTube videos and audios, simply go to the dashboard sidebar, click on Customize Clinic, and then select either Manage Video Links or Manage Audio Links.
Once you have entered the page, you will need to do the following:
Open YouTube in a separate browser window and select the video you want to add.
Copy the URL link from YouTube for the video.
Give it a name (optional - the system will automatically give it the same name as YouTube).
Choose which category you want it to relate to, or add a new category.
Click Add YouTube Video/Audio.
You can limit access to the video in one of two ways:
Show only to a specific age group: either adults (over 18) or children (under 18). Clients are automatically assigned to one of these groups based on their birthdate.
Show only to specific clients: you can select specific clients to show this video to by searching their name or email, and then selecting them from the search results.
The video will now be automatically available for the clients you selected the next time they log in to the Myndlift app.
You can also delete videos by clicking on the trashcan icon on the right hand side of the row.
