As your team is recording faults during their inspections, it will build a register of faults across your assets, where you can easily see their status, severity, location, and more. You can also organise the register to group faults together, to stay on top of what needs to be done.

To close out a fault, follow these steps:

1. Go into the 'Faults' section under 'Management' in the left-hand side navigation menu. Ensure you are filtering for 'New' and 'Pending' faults. Select the fault you'd like to action

2. A pane will open on the right-hand side, with all the details associated with the fault selected. You'll see there the fault status set as 'New' or 'Pending'

3. Switch the status to 'Closed' to make the selected fault as closed

4. Once you've updated the fault status, select 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the pane

5. To retrieve your newly-closed fault, you can switch the Status filter to 'Closed' to show all the closed faults

6. You can then see your closed fault in the list

Notes:

  • You can use the Register filters, sorting and grouping options to control how the faults appear

  • The search bar allows you to search for specific faults easily, by using any of the keywords relating to an asset, e.g. asset name, reference, fault ID, work order ID, location, description etc
