To add a Check field to an existing or new form template, follow these steps:

1. Open the Form Builder for the relevant form template

2. Select the Check field option, drag and drop it to its desired location in your form template

3. When clicking on the Check field, a pane will open on the right-hand side. You'll be able to customise:

  • Label: This will be the name of your field as it appears in your template

  • Description: Allows you to provide more information on what type of data is expected in this field

  • Required Checkbox: When ticked, it will make this specific field required to save a form

  • Answer labels: By default set to 'Ok', 'N/A' and 'Fault'

    • You can rename these labels to customise the answers - e.g. 'Pass', 'Fail'

    • You can have up to 4 different answer options

    • The 'Fault' answer is automatically set, as it is required to record faults that can be added to Work Orders and repair forms. Additionally, you can make Photo recording required as well

Note:

  • The 'Fault' answer option is a dynamic field - it will allow users to directly record faults during their inspections or pre-starts. When used, it will save the recorded fault(s) against the relevant asset
