Exporting a repair form as a PDF gives your maintenance team a clear, shareable record of the work completed - perfect for attaching to job reports, emailing to supervisors, or logging in your maintenance files. It helps with accountability, supports compliance checks, and ensures everyone stays aligned, even if they’re not using Gearbelt. A PDF version is also handy for quick reference during audits or site handovers.
To export a repair form as PDF, follow these steps:
1. Access the 'Faults' section
2. Go into 'Repair Activity'
3. Select the relevant repair form you'd like to export. This will open the form in a right-hand side pane. Click 'Download as PDF'
Note:
You can export the Repair Activity and/or the Faults Register only as CSV at this stage. To do so, navigate to the relevant tab (Faults or Repair Activity), bulk select or manually select the relevant items and click 'Download CSV'
