Bulk editing issue statuses helps you save time and keep your records clean - especially when you're updating multiple issues at once after an inspection or repair session. Instead of editing each one individually, you can quickly mark issues as New, Pending, Repaired, Closed, or Void in just a few clicks. It’s a simple way to stay organised and ensure your team always has the latest info.
To bulk edit your issue status, follow these steps:
1. Access the 'Issues' section on Gearbelt. You'll be directed by default to the 'Issues' tab
2. From there, tick the checkbox next to the Severity column. This will automatically select all the items in the register
3. Click 'Edit Issue Status'
4. A pop-up will appear to let you select the new issue status
5. Select the relevant issue status, and click 'Save' to finalise the changes
