While pre-starts and toolbox talks add a lot of value to projects and ensure better project performance and safety, they can also become unnecessarily time-consuming and difficult to manage with Word docs, excel spreadsheets and paper.

Best Practices
Include a Scan and Sign table at the bottom of the toolbox so that all attendees can sign on using their digital profile ID in the free Sitemate app. This will make it way faster for your supervisor/site manager to collect lots of signatures (compared to signing paper, or using manual signature fields).
As a backup, you may want to include a 'manual signature' field so anyone without a Sitemate ID can still sign off
Include a 'photo field' so that details of specific site conditions can be recorded
Include a 'sketch field' so that any diagrams can be added directly to the form
In the template settings, make sure the forms are sorted by the date on the form (and not by the creation date)
