When taking photos using the Dashpivot app, you have the option to stamp some information into the image file to preserve the information and prevent this from being manipulated.

The Dashpivot app automatically captures information about the photos you take, including the time and date, GPS location, the photo taker. And when combined with user generated information like the photo description and photo tags applied, your photos become very easy to filter and find via the Dashpivot website.

This search capability is a powerful aspect of Dashpivot, but is lost when you download photos our of Dashpivot. This is where photo stamping can be useful, since some of the meta data can be stamped into the image, preserving it in a way which prevents meta data manipulation/tampering.

Go to your Profile > Photo Stamp Preferences

If photo stamping is enabled, you can then customise what information is stamped onto the phone.
