Single Submission Sitemate Links can provide anyone with access to submit a single form for one or more templates, via the Sitemate app without needing a Dashpivot account.

This works well for processes like site check-ins, where all personnel arriving at a location need to log their visit. Using Sitemate Links, anyone can complete a site check-in electronically via the free Sitemate app, and submit that record into your Dashpivot account so you have a register of all visits - which is organised and easy to search/filter.

We recommend printing out the QR poster for your link and sticking it on the so that when someone scans the poster, it will initiate the checkin process via the Sitemate app on their phone.

In this scenario, none of the people checking in are paid Dashpivot users. Instead, they will use the free Sitemate app to complete a site check-in for free.

Tutorial:

How to create a Single Submission Sitemate Link for Site Check-ins

  1. Go to the team folder where you want your check-in records to be submitted

  2. Go to the Templates section

  3. Go to the Links tab

  4. Make sure you are in the 'Single Submission' section (this should be the default). If you are in the 'Ongoing Submission' section and create a link, every person who completes a site check-in will become a paid Sitemate Form User

  5. Click Create Link

  6. Give your link a name, and select your Site Check-in Template

  7. Click create

Note: if you don't have a site check-in template yet, you can use a free template available in the Public Template Library.

How can someone complete a Site Check-in?

Once created, all you need to do is download and print the QR code poster and stick it on the wall at your site or office. Feel free to print multiple copies!

When scanned with a smartphone or tablet, it will open the link and add the site check-in form to their phone so it can be completed.
