Duplicate your eConsent form

To save time and effort, an eConsent created for one study can be saved as a template and duplicated within the same study or for use in another study.

šŸ’”Tip: Once duplicated, the new eConsent is independent of the source template. You can freely modify the eConsent without affecting the original template.

šŸ› ļø Step-by-step guide

Step 1: How to save your eConsent form as a template

  1. Navigate to ā€œeConsent Formsā€

  2. For the desired form, select the edit icon

  3. Depending on the ePRO's status:

  • For a Draft eConsent, select the ā€œSave as a Templateā€ option at the top of the builder.

  • For a Published eConsent, select the ā€œeConsent to Templateā€ option.

Step 2: How to use your eConsent template

  1. Navigate to ā€œeConsent Formā€

  2. Select ā€œ+ Create New eConsentā€

  3. Click on ā€œChoose from Templates.ā€

  4. Search for the desired template to duplicate.

  5. Click on "Create".

If you already started to create a new eConsent form:

  1. Navigate to ā€œeConsent Formsā€

  2. For the desired eConsent form, select the edit icon.

  3. At the top of the builder, select the ā€œ+ā€ (Add Template) icon.

  4. Search for the desired template to duplicate (browse all tabs if needed).

  5. Click on "Create".

  6. Once added, start adapting your duplicated eConsent form to fit your needs.
