Required for Tax Setup

  1. UI Account Number (10 digits, e.g., 12-34567-8-90)

  2. Unemployment Insurance Rate (X.XX%)

Third Party Administrator (TPA) Access

DaySmart Payroll needs granted TPA access to pay and file this tax. Follow the instructions below to ensure there are no delays in processing:

  1. Log into the WYUI account

  2. Select Account Maintenance, then select Add or Remove Third Party/CDS Vendor Association

  3. Complete the following fields:

    1. Type of Association: Third Party

    2. Address Type: Information Only

    3. Association Start Date: Select the first day of the quarter payroll began (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1)

  4. Select Add

  5. On the next page, complete the Reporting Service Details:

    1. Name: Salsa Software Inc

    2. Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN): 87-1539043

  6. Select Search, then select Select next to Salsa Software Inc

  7. Select the radio button under Select by Information Only

  8. Enter the Association Start Date again

  9. Select Submit

⚠️ Approval may take 24–48 hours after submission. To avoid delays, confirm the Association Start Date matches the first day of the current quarter before submitting.
