Bola's perio charting automatically skips only teeth that Dentrix marks with the "M" (missing) symbol. Unerupted teeth, implants, and pontics are not marked "M" in Dentrix, so Bola does not skip them automatically. This is expected behavior.
You do not need to change the tooth's status in the Dentrix chart. Use either method below.
Skip as you chart
When you reach a tooth you want to pass, say "Skip" or "Next". The cursor moves forward one tooth.
Mark the teeth to skip before you start
Open the perio chart and press "Start New Chart" in the Bola app.
Press "Select Teeth to Skip". For wisdom teeth, use the "Mark Wisdom Teeth Missing" checkbox (covers 1, 16, 17, 32). For other teeth, click them in the tooth graph, or say "Mark missing, 1, 16, 17, 32".
Confirm the Bola app shows the success message and the same tooth position as the Dentrix cursor, then chart as normal.
Note: "Skip" and "Next" are available on Dentrix Desktop. They are not supported on Fuse.
