Dentrix Voice - Install Guide

Step 1: To start the download for Dentrix click here.

Step 2: Navigate to your file explorer and select the download folder

Step 3: Double-click the Bola Voice Assistant file to start the install. Run it normally. Do not right-click the install file and choose “Run as administrator,” because the installer can show an error when it is run that way. You will set Bola to run as administrator after the install, in Step 7.

Step 4: If you see this pop-up, click “More info,” then click “Run anyway.”

Step 5: Enter your license key and click “Register”

Step 6: Scroll down and accept Bola AI Terms of Use and select “Agree”. After you select “Agree” you’ll be directed towards the Bola Voice Assistant home page.

Step 7: Set the installed Bola app to run as administrator. Right-click the Bola Voice desktop icon (the installed app, not the install file you downloaded) and select “Properties”. Open the “Compatibility” tab, click “Change settings for all users”, check “Run this program as an administrator”, then click “Apply” and “OK”. For more detail, see Running Bola as Administrator.

Step 8: SETUP DENTRIX: Go to the “Script” and from the dropdown menu, choose “Bola Migration Path”.

Step 9: Click on the blue Bola mic. After doing this, it'll turn red. Next, you'll need to click on the most distal buccal site of the first tooth. Once this is done, the Bola mic will turn red.
