2. Manual Pairing (If Needed)

If the devices do not pair automatically:

  • Receiver (RX):

    • Ensure the RX is powered on.

    • Press and hold the pairing button on the RX for 3 seconds until the blue light flashes rapidly.

  • Once both devices are in pairing mode, they should connect automatically

3. Connecting to Devices

  • Computers:

    • Connect the RX to your computer via USB-C.

    • Select "Lark M2" as the input device in your computer's audio settings.

Here are some common troubleshooting steps for the Hollyland Lark M2 wireless microphone system, especially if you're facing pairing, audio, or connectivity issues:

1. Check Power and Connections

  • Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged.

  • Confirm that all devices are powered on and properly connected.

  • Use the original USB-C cables for charging and data transfer.

2. Reset the System

If the devices aren’t pairing or behaving erratically, try a reset:

  • Press and hold the pairing button on both the transmitter and receiver for about 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash, then release.

  • This will restore factory settings and often resolves pairing glitches.

3. Re-Pair Devices

  • Place the transmitter and receiver close together.

  • Press the pairing button on both units simultaneously until the LEDs blink rapidly.

  • Wait for the lights to turn solid, indicating a successful connection.

4. Audio Issues

  • No Sound: Check that the receiver is properly connected to your camera or phone and that the input is selected correctly.

  • Distorted Audio: Lower the gain on the transmitter or adjust the input level on your recording device.

  • Low Volume: Make sure the mic isn’t obstructed and that the receiver’s output level is set appropriately.

5. Firmware and Compatibility

  • Visit Hollyland’s official site to check for firmware updates.

  • Ensure your recording device supports external microphones via USB-C or 3.5mm input.
