Smaller teams may prefer to have one screener handle a case from order request to clearance and this is absolutely fine by BS:7858 standards, which does not mandate separation of screening and approval duties. Larger teams however may prefer a QA process where another team member (or another team entirely) is responsible for reviewing and approving files.
Both of these are possible through Deploi. If you’d prefer to have a sign-off process, the main screener can change the status of a candidate to ‘In Review’. If there is feedback, this can be provided in the notes section of the candidate’s home page, to allow the screener to amend any information and resubmit.
While Deploi wants to ensure that all files are completely compliant, there needs to be space for interpretation and individual process. With this in mind, there are many error messages should standard processes not be followed, but these can often be overridden if you choose to.
If someone is cleared accidentally, this can be revoked by removing their clearance status. The system will store the names of both the screener and user that signed off the file, alongside any dates for audit purposes.
