The candidate will not need to download an app in order to perform their check- they will receive a login link to an online portal, which they can access through their mobile, laptop or desktop.
Their process is straightforward- they will be asked to provide the following:
Initial consent (highlighting their commitment to provide accurate information)
Relevant personal details, including any known aliases or previous names.
Their right to work and identity information
Documents essential to their job eligibility (Such as an SIA licence)
Their activities for the last five years
Their addresses for the last five years
Any disclosures they may wish to make ahead of submission
Final consent (that explains how their data is processed)
If they have previously existed and this is a Passported candidate, they will be asked to provide only new and relevant information, unless they are performing a different check type.
