At Deploi Technologies Ltd, we prioritise your privacy and are committed to providing you with control over your personal data. Under current data protection laws, you have the right to make Subject Access Requests (SARs) to understand what personal information we hold about you. Additionally, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and the associated data. These rights ensure transparency and give you the ability to manage your digital footprint effectively. If you wish to exercise these rights or learn more about our privacy practices, please continue reading or contact our support team.

Subject Access Requests (SARs)

You have the right to ask for copies of your personal data we store and use. This is your right of access, also known as making a subject access request or SAR.

We’ll normally respond at the latest within one calendar month of receiving your request. There may be times where we need longer or we may need to charge a reasonable fee for admin costs. We’ll let you know if this is the case.

You don’t have to use this form to ask for copies of your data, but it’s helpful for us to know what you’re looking for so we can respond fully and promptly. https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/make-a-subject-access-request/subject-access-request-service/

To submit an SAR please send your completed form or request to us at data-protection@deploi.uk.

Account Deletion

To request the deletion of a file from our records, please contact our support team directly. Once we receive your request, we will verify your identity and process the deletion in compliance with all relevant regulations within 28 days.

Due to BS7858 and employer regulations we may not be able to delete certain documentation and information as in the UK, the retention period for employee background checks, such as those conducted under the BS7858 standard, can vary based on the nature of the employment and industry-specific requirements. Generally, it is recommended that employers retain background check records for six years following the end of employment. This period aligns with the statute of limitations.

When necessary to comply with regulations, we ensure that only essential data is retained, with non-essential information being promptly deleted. Essential data is retained in compliance with regulations and, where applicable, anonymised to eliminate any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

For any questions or to initiate the deletion, please reach out to us at data-protection@deploi.uk.
